Booking Policy

ACCOMMODATION



Our accommodation is fully equipped and exceeds the recommendations of the Scottish Tourist Board. If you would like full details of what equipment is supplied, please do not hesitate to enquire.

Our range of accommodation caters for 4 or for 6 people. If a cot is requested, then a baby will be allowed in addition to the normal number of persons permitted in the accommodation. Guests are welcome but the maximum capacity may not be exceeded overnight. Exceeding this will result in the Park terminating the hire.

GAS AND ELECTRICITY

Gas and electricity are included in the tariffs quoted for our accommodation.



LINEN



Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided in all of our accommodation. We do not supply bedding for cots.



TRAVEL COTS AND HIGH CHAIRS
If required, please request travel cots and high chairs when making your reservation to avoid any disappointment.

PETS

As some of our units are pet free, you must advise when booking that you are bringing your pet. Cats are not accepted in any accommodation. Your pet cannot be left unattended in the accommodation at any time. Your pet must also be kept on a lead at all times and in the interest of all Park users they are not permitted in children's play areas and amenity buildings on the Park.

BOATS AND JET SKIS



If you are bringing a boat or a jet ski, please advise us when making your reservation. All watercraft users must abide by the rules of the Park and those of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Boats can not be left beside accommodation; they must either be stored in the boat yard or on a facility agreed by the Park. All boats and jet skis must be registered with Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park Authority and insured prior to coming to the park



SPECIAL REQUESTS

If you have any special requests, please let us know. The Management and staff will make every reasonable effort to meet your requirements.

PARK FACILITIES

Facilities on the Park, i.e. shop, laundry, etc. may be closed or have restricted opening hours during the low season. Please enquire for further details

HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION

For bookings six weeks and more in advance you must pay a 25% deposit to confirm your booking. The balance is due six weeks prior to your stay.
For bookings made less than six weeks prior to your stay full payment must be made at the time of booking.

ONCE YOU HAVE MADE YOUR BOOKING

On making an internet booking you will receive two emails, the first confirming a provisional booking subject to approval and payment and the second confirming the booking. For bookings made direct through the office confirmation will be sent via post. If there is an outstanding balance (ie. if you have paid the deposit only) this is due 6 weeks prior to your stay to arrange payment in full. If the outstanding balance is not paid, we reserve the right to make the property available for re-booking.

IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL


Your booking is a binding contract with the Park. If you wish to cancel your holiday after the booking has been made, this must be done so in writing to the Park. We strongly recommend cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances as no refunds are given.



ON YOUR ARRIVAL

Your accommodation will normally be available at 4 p.m. If you are arriving after 5 p.m. please advise the Park beforehand. When you take over your accommodation, you accept it and the equipment as being undamaged and in good working order unless reported to the Park office within 24 hours. 



PARKING

There is parking for up to 2 cars beside your accommodation. All visitor car and commercial vehicles must be parked in the main car park.



ON YOUR DEPARTURE


You must vacate your accommodation by 10 a.m. on the day of your departure. It is your responsibility to leave your accommodation clean and tidy All breakages and damages must be paid for. An inspection of your accommodation may be carried out prior to your departure. If this is not possible, any damages will be recorded and an invoice forwarded to you for settlement.

SHORTCOMINGS

Every effort is made by the Park to ensure that your holiday is perfect. Although we try our best, we are not always perfect ourselves! Any problems which may occur must be reported to the Park immediately so they can be rectified speedily. Unless advised of a problem, we cannot resolve it, therefore no claims can be considered at a later date. All accidents, however minor must be reported to the Park immediately.



IF WE WISH TO CANCEL



We reserve the right to cancel the hire without any liability if in our opinion you are not suitable to take charge of the accommodation. We also reserve the right to terminate the hire if in our opinion there are grounds which would include damage to accommodation, vandalism, unreasonable or antisocial behaviour, failing to abide by the Park rules or exceeding the permitted number of occupants. Such cancellation or termination is without prejudice to any legal steps which we as Owners consider necessary to protect our interests. No refunds will be given.
