In order to undertake such extensive works, the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel is closed to the public, enabling the extensive works to be progressed. The hotel is due to reopen in 2012.
The demolition of the mid twentieth-century extension to the rear of the property is complete and work to upgrade the historic main wing of the building is due to start soon.
