Rules and Conditions

1. The Park only accepts holiday units made by N.C.C. approved manufacturers which have been purchased direct from the Park or a unit owner with a written undertaking from the Company that a pitch on the Park will be provided.

2. Transfer of unit ownership or right of use is subject to the permission of the Luss Estates Company. Full details are contained in the Owner's Licence Agreement.

3. Under the terms of the Holiday Site Licence granted by the Company, no unit may be occupied when the Park is closed. Inverbeg Holiday Park is a Non-Residential Park.

4. All units require to be properly anchored, but in all other respects kept in a mobile condition.

5. Children 16 years of age or under must be supervised by an adult on the Park at all times. Young children must not be given the freedom of the Park after dusk. Park staff will not be held responsible for the behaviour of children and are entitled to escort any who misbehave to their parents, or the Police, if necessary.

6. There is a games/play area. All other grassed areas should not be used for games or bicycles.

7. There will be a disconnection and removal charge when a unit is removed from the park, as transport contractors are not permitted within the Park itself. The charge covers disconnection of all services, anchor chains, releasing running gear, inflating tyres, etc, as well as towing the unit to the collection area. The Company requires two month's written notice if a unit is to be removed from the Park and 48 hours verbal notice of collection by the contractor.

8. Owners should use their discretion in regard to the number and frequency of visitors whom they invite to the Park. Owners will be held responsible for the behaviour of their guests. The Management and Staff of the park will conduct themselves at all times in a professional and reasonable way. Owners and holidaymakers will be expected to behave in a similar fashion. Owners or holidaymakers who are unable to conduct themselves in a reasonable fashion may be asked to leave the Park.

9. Security cameras are located on the park. Security barriers are only effective if used correctly. No tailgating or misuse of barrier cards is permitted. Any barrier card lost should be reported immediately.

10. A maximum of 2 cars may be parked in the space at each pitch. Additional cars and all commercial vehicles must be parked in the car park. Access roads must be kept clear at all times.

11. No structures of any description may be erected or paving stones etc. placed around units, without written permission from the company. No fences are permitted.

12. All units must be insured to their full value against all usual risks including fire and storm damage and against third party risks, for not less than £2m. Evidence of such cover must be produced on request. The unit owner shall be responsible for any incident involving his/her unit and for damage caused by unsecured external items, furniture etc.

13. Units fitted with alarms are incorporated into the security system of the Park and all repairs and maintenance to the system are carried out by our approved contractor exclusively. This work will be charged to owners, if applicable. As far as individual holiday homes are concerned, the responsibility rests with the owner, but if a fault develops which affects the system as a whole, the Management reserves the right to isolate the offending unit without accepting liability for any loss or damage.

14. Owners must take all reasonable security precautions. Valuables should not be left in unoccupied units, particularly if they are visible through the windows. If a unit is not being used on a regular basis, in the winter for example, all TV sets, VCR's, microwaves etc. should be removed.

15. The Company shall have no responsibility for any accident, however caused, to persons, cars, units or property on the Park. The Company shall have no liability for persons or property of any person using the Park, nor for the negligence or wrongful acts of such persons. The Company shall have no responsibility for the loss or damage to units or equipment on the Park. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event of an accident the Park Manager should be notified immediately.

16. Fire extinguishers must be fitted in all units.

17. All units with mains electrics must be wired in accordance with the Institute of Electrical Engineers Code of Practice before being connected to the mains electricity supply. Electricity meters, which are the property of the Company, must not be tampered with in any way. The Park cannot accept any liability for contents of fridges/freezers due to failure of the power supply for whatever reason.

The Company will maintain all cabling and electrical equipment up to and including the meters and may charge an infrastructure and administration fee for doing so. All cabling and electrical equipment thereafter is the unit owner's responsibility.

18. In the interests of others, units must be kept clean and well maintained. Pitches and their surroundings are to be kept clean and tidy (and no under-storage permitted).

Caravans may not be externally re-painted at any time. Chalets should be treated with a recognised wood preservative or stain. With regard to verandas, balconies, walkways and sheds - colour codes can be advised by the Park management. Greens and browns are permitted, other colours are unlikely to be permitted. Owners are required to keep their holiday home clean, chalets with outer timbers in good repair and treated at all times. Any request for owner's repairs must be directed through the Park office.

19. Outdoor parties are permitted only subject to prior written permission from the park management. Indoor parties must not be audible in a neighbouring unit after 2300 hrs. Remember that caravanners are extremely vulnerable to noise in general and the thoughtless use of stereos in particular. Care should be taken to keep noise to a minimum at all times, particularly between 2300 hrs and 0800 hrs.

20. Waste products must be disposed of carefully - solid refuse in the bins or bags provided. All recyclable waste should be placed in the recycling bins near the main car park. Disposing of items incorrectly causes untidiness, inconvenience as well as health and hygiene problems. Items such as car batteries, heaters, fridges or other large items must be removed from the Park by the owners themselves.

21. No washing may be hung on or around units, except using a proprietary plastic clothes dryer which clips on to the window surround.

26. No firearms, catapults, bows and arrows, airguns or any offensive or dangerous weapons may be brought to the Park.

28. To comply with the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority bye-laws, all watercraft require to be registered. All watercraft must be insured. All watercraft must also be registered with the Company prior to being brought on to the Park.

29. General use of the north shore jetty is restricted to embarking and disembarking on the outside of the T-piece. A berth may only be occupied with permission from the management. Unauthorised use of the jetty will be charged on a daily rate. No cars are permitted to be left at the launching areas.

Boats and trailers may not be parked on the Park unless in the boat yard or other areas designated by the Park management. They may NOT be kept beside caravans or lodges. Persons using boats from the park do so at their own risk and the company shall have no responsibility for their safety. The Park Manager may give advice or information to boat

owners, but shall not be regarded as being available for rescue purposes. Persons using boats should be competent to handle their craft in all conditions of wind and water and to deal with any emergencies that may arise. In the interests of safety, life jackets should be worn at all times. The Loch Byelaws must be adhered to at all times.

30. Persons using watercraft of any description must keep noise at a minimum whilst in the proximity of the Park. Due care should be taken in the areas of the jetty and moorings. No planning through the moorings or skiing from the beach is permitted. Boats are not permitted in the roped off unsuitable areas.

31. Management services are not available outside of reception hours. In the case of an emergency, ONLY owners should go to the main reception building for assistance from security staff or the Resident Warden (whoever is on call). Instructions on how to obtain assistance will be posted in the reception window. Residents are requested not to call at the Warden's house at any time.

32. In the event of any breach of these Rules and Conditions, the Company will give written notice specifying the breach and requiring remedy within a reasonable time or in the case of a serious breach require the owner to remove his/her unit within 30 days. Failing such removal, the company may themselves effect removal of the unit from the Park.

33. All correspondence should be addressed to: The General Manager, Inverbeg Holiday Park, Inverbeg, Luss, Argyll, G83 8PD.

The Company reserves the right to amend these Rules and Conditions or to add to them at any time, whenever practicable, having first given written notice to that effect.
