Use of Watercraft

Boat and Jet Ski Storage

All Boats / Jet Skies must be stored in the yard when not in use and NOT beside accommodation at any time (this includes boat trailers).

Launching Area

No vehicles may be left at the Jet Ski or harbour launching areas at any time. Following launching, your car should be removed to your own parking area beside your accommodation. Trailers should be removed to the boat storage yard.

Harbour - East Shore

ALL harbour spaces are private, and may not be used by others under any circumstances.

Pontoons

The end of the pontoon is for loading and unloading purposes only. Under no circumstances may a boat be left unattended.
Use of the jetty including the berths is at the boat owners' own risk.

Jet Skis

Jet skies should be launched at the Jet Ski launching area on the East Shore/entrance to the river. Jet skis are not permitted in the harbour area at any time.

General Rules

1) All Boats and Jet Skis MUST be registered with the Loch Lomond Park Authority in Balloch Tel. No. 01389 722 600 and registration numbers must be displayed on the craft at all times. All craft users must abide by the rules of the park authority and those of the Park.
2) All Boats and Jet Skis MUST be INSURED and a copy of valid certificate must be provided on arrival or send in before.
3) No ski-ing from the beach, pontoons, or through moorings is permitted.
4) If you have requested a pontoon you have been allocated a space, which is located on the North Shore. No other pontoon space or mooring should be used unless authorised.
5) You MUST display your Park identification disk & also your trailer tag at all times. These will be given to you at check in.
