Lease signing for Arrochar Community Hydro

Sir Malcolm Colquhoun of Luss and Duncan MacLachlan signed the lease between Luss Estates and Arrochar Community Hydro for the land which is being leased by Luss Estates, at a peppercorn rent, for the scheme. Also in attendance, for this milestone event in the project development, was Lady Colquhoun of Luss and David McCowan of Arrochar Community Hydro.

The scheme provides an ethical source of renewable energy with long term sustainable benefit to the communities of Arrochar and Luss. The project build is, at this stage, on time and on budget despite continued adverse weather conditions in snow, rain and sleet showers.
