2025 Visitor Management Plan
We are pleased to share that Luss Estates Company is well underway with its 2025 Visitor Management Plan, with a dedicated investment of £75,000 to support the local area during the busy visitor season. This years efforts include:
Ongoing support for the Friends of Loch Lomond bin scheme, helping reduce roadside litter along the A82.
Portaloo’s in both Luss and Arrochar, making your visit more comfortable.
Village wardens in Luss and Arrochar, offering a helpful presence and friendly guidance.
Regular litter picks organised by the Luss Estate Office team to keep the area looking at its best.
We urge all visitors to respect this beautiful part of Loch Lomond and take your litter home, a simple request that will help protect the natural beauty that draws us all here.
“We are committed to keeping this part of Loch Lomond beautiful. However, I am concerned that the pending Argyll & Bute Visitor Levy could spell the end to the type of voluntary work undertaken by businesses. Paying for both such voluntary work and then also the Visitor Levy will be unaffordable and one has to assume that Council’s will have neither the local knowledge nor diligence to replace the contribution of local businesses”.
Simon Miller, Chief Executive Officer of Luss Estates Company.
