Celebrating 100 Years of Combined Service at Luss Estates Company

On 27 January 2026, Sir Malcolm and Lady Colquhoun welcomed colleagues to Camstraddan House to celebrate the Luss Estates Company long service awards, marking an exceptional milestone of 100 years of combined service across the Estate.

Reflecting on the occasion, Sir Malcolm highlighted the importance of the team to the Estate’s success:

“We are extremely fortunate to have such a dedicated and skilled team at Luss Estates Company. As a family-run business, everything we achieve is underpinned by the commitment, experience and professionalism of our people, and I am sincerely grateful to each of them for their many years of service. Our long service awards are always a special occasion, and they serve as a reminder of the significant contribution our staff continue to make to the Estate’s ongoing development and success.”

Six members of the team were recognised for their long-standing commitment. Inga Buhreitere from the Office Accounts Team, along with Artis Buhreitere and Stewart Ross from General Maintenance, were each honoured for 20 years of service.

Simon Miller, former Chief Executive Officer, and Bartek Turon from General Maintenance were recognised for 15 years, while Marcin Szymanski from the General Maintenance Team marked his 10-year milestone.

Together, their dedication represents a remarkable 100 years of service to Luss Estates Company. The celebration was a fitting recognition of their loyalty, professionalism and the vital role they continue to play in supporting the Estate and it’s ongoing success.
