Helensburgh’s Christmas Tree Donated by Luss Estates Company

Luss Estates Company was delighted to support the local community once again this year through the donation of the Sitka Spruce now standing proudly in Colquhoun Square. The impressive tree has already been erected and beautifully decorated, bringing festive warmth and tradition to the heart of Helensburgh.

Luss Estates Company is pleased to continue its tradition of supporting the town’s festive celebrations by donating this year’s Christmas tree for Colquhoun Square. As part of the Estate’s ongoing commitment to the local community, the tree provides a welcoming focal point for residents, businesses, and visitors throughout the festive season.

The Sitka Spruce was carefully felled on the Estate before being transported to Helensburgh on a low-loader trailer. Staff from Luss Estates, together with trusted local partners, worked collaboratively to guide the tree safely into position. Once installed, the dedicated volunteers from the Helensburgh Festive Lighting Charitable Trust (HFLCT) completed the decoration, adding the lights and festive touches that residents and visitors now enjoy.

This community effort has ensured that Helensburgh can once again celebrate the season with a bright and welcoming centrepiece for upcoming events, gatherings, and celebrations. As the town prepares for its annual Winter Festival later this month, the tree adds to the festive atmosphere throughout the Square.
